Items in our banquet inventory are for your use at no additional charge.
Any equipment requested not in inventory, which have associated costs, will be passed on to your group. Please note the hotel does not carry the following items: ropes and stanchions

Mobile bars are available for all function rooms.
For cash bars the hotel applies a £500.00 minimum spend for set up and service.
Please discuss the location of bars with your Event Planner as electrical and computer supply for tills is required.
Situated across the hotel outside of meeting rooms, our hydration stations are available for your delegates to recharge with an ice cold drink.
To request a hydration station placed directly outside of your meeting room, please speak to your event planner.
The Hilton Birmingham Metropole has an accessible ramp available for hire.
The ramp is 8’ long by 3’9” wide and just over 1’ high
The ramp is suitable for wheel chair access
The cost for ramp installation and hire is £75+VAT

The Hilton Birmingham Metropole has temporary dance floors that can be placed in each function room.
The dance floor oak parquet panels are measured:
1m x 1m sections
All dance floors have a steel edging.
The installation cost is £150+VAT.
The size of the dance floor will be dependent on the amount of guests attending and also available floor space.
Please inform your Event Planner if you wish to bring your own dance floor.
The hotel has fridges available for hire:
6 full size fridges at £100.00 per week
3 mini fridges at £50.00 per week

The Hilton Birmingham Metropole has 30 staging blocks on site available for hire:
Each block measures: 8ft by 4ft by 1ft high
The blocks covered in blue coloured carpet and a blue skirting is provided.
The cost for hire is £50+ VAT per staging block, per installation
The Hilton Birmingham Metropole has one water fountain; this can be sited in the Monarch, Palace and Kings Suite only and in specific locations only. The fountain provide a continuous supply of chilled water direct from the mains water supply.
There is an installation cost of £50.00+VAT for the use of each fountain.
