Meat Awards – Graham Yandell - June 2017

 

I want to thank everyone at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole for a very successful Meat Awards Dinner. Please pass my compliments to the chef who did a great job to produce such a high quality meal for so many guests. I was very pleased with the menu, especially the starter course.

We will definitely look to plan our other forthcoming events with you.

We have been running the event for a number of years and our dedicated Event Planner at the hotel has given us the most personal attention of anyone in that time. The weekly phone calls we had helped to make sure we were on track from both sides and gave the impression that she genuinely cared about the event. The Event relations manager on the day of the event, also looked after us very well.

I have only good things to say about Hilton Birmingham Metropole. The pre-event organisation which our Event Planner put into the event was excellent and as a result made our event run very smoothly. Anything that needed to be changed, tweaked or added on the day, was done without fuss and complete professionalism by the on-site event relation managers who were both fantastic at being around to make sure all was running smoothly.

All of the staff who had input on our event were all very organised and professional, all of the catering was of an excellent standard both day and evening, and our delegates felt very well looked after.

The meeting room was perfect for us, the whole Kings area was a superb use of space for us.

I am already recommending you to my colleagues at work, I very much look forward to returning in the future.

Can I just say once again – thank you for your hard work in the run up to and on the night of last Thursdays event. We all had a fantastic time – as usual – at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
 
While I cant say when – I am sure that we will be looking at your venue again for any events we have in the future as you are always so good to us. I also loved the get planning portal – great way of keeping me organised!

I have to mention the efficiency of the conferencing department while organising a major event for our company over the 28th and 29th November, just so helpful and courteous, nothing was a problem.

I book events like this all the time and I am not used to such great service. We will most definitely use you again!


2016 EOA Conference – Fern Bray – November 2016

 

I want to say a massive thank you for all your help with the 2016 EOA conference. The whole team both before and during the event were fantastic!

The event relation manager was very professional, always answered her phone and always helped us when required. The event planner both before the event and on the first day just running through all the final pieces was fantastic and we felt very reassured that everything was under control.

Operations assistance throughout the two days was great. As with the rest of the catering team, the gala dinner and drinks reception were fantastic, the food also tasted great!

Your concierge team were so lovely and helpful and two of the team even assisted loading items in to our van on Tuesday evening which we assured them they didn’t have to help with but they were very lovely and made us feel very looked after.

One of your hotel crew/porters was fantastic at clearing the rubbish, checking in to make sure we were ok and just generally being a helpful and friendly face. We want him to come to all of our events as our team warmed to him and his friendly manner over the two days!

MCL rigging team were spot on and the guys were very helpful and friendly and everything went up on time as requested.

The event was a total and utter success start to finish. I think your efficiency and consideration was exemplary and I found booking this event, an absolute pleasure. I am a stickler for attention to detail and I think you guys worked in sync at all times with our needs and requirements.

The staff at the Hilton are some of the best i have ever seen, everything was under control and nothing was ever a problem. The event relations manager went above and beyond for us at all times, so efficient, helpful, and very polite and courteous at all times.

Everyone is so well trained and focused on customer service and attention. And the food was absolutely perfect. Everyone said it. Well presented and tasted delicious. I thanked everyone personally as they really do deserve the recognition - such amazing people whom genuinely care for the clients and patrons. Always smiling and immersed in their work.

The rooms were great - the gifts were so well appreciated. At no stage at all did I have an issue or problem - and anything I asked for was provided without a query or problem.

We are all so impressed with the Hilton - and it played a major part in the event being a total and utter success.

For that - I thank you.

The two owners of the company emailed me to say that in their 5 years in business, operating in countries all over the globe - and with events happening on a constant basis - that what they witnessed on Saturday, was the best they have ever seen.

OFNC - Bamidele Adebisi - August 2016

 

The Hilton Birmingham Metropole has hosted the OFNC annual gathering for the past four years and our organisation considers it the home for the event the next three years. Having worked with the team, we have experienced flexibility to fit into our cultural requirements, including the provision of Malt drink for sale, and adaptation of menus in conjunction with the Executive Chef to fit our dietary requirements. The feedback on the jollof rice was that it was “the best tasting”. As an organiser of this annual event, the team at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole from start to finish make the role smooth and easy. There are always staff, including senior management member, on hand to help with unplanned issues. I would absolutely recommend this team.

I would like to thank all of the team at Hilton for their hard work. We realise that there is a huge team that works tirelessly at Hilton to make our event a success, from concierge, chefs, serving staff and porters to name just a few. The attention to detail in the planning of the event was second to none, one of the many reasons why we love working with the hotel every year. The actual delivery of the event from the event relation managers was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and all requests were handled professionally.

We were, as usual, impressed by the outstanding catering and service the hotel provided for such large numbers, from the ease at which tweaks were made after menu tasting, to the taste and presentation of the food. The food and beverage managers were also outstanding each evening.

I’ve had many compliments about the hotel and how the professional team at Hilton are a key element in making the event such a success.
