A request for the use of Lasers in an events, should be discussed with your Event Planner prior to confirmation that these are permitted.
1. Lasers cannot be used without our prior approval at least 28 days prior to the event.
2. A site-specific risk assessment must be submitted to the hotel with a copy of the laser risk assessment provided which will be passed to Solihull Borough Council for approval.
All laser related documentation must be forwarded to your Event Planner for approval by the Hotel's Health & Safety Manager.
The hotel is subject to the authority of the Solihull Borough Council for matters relating to lasers, and as such, cannot guarantee their authorisation for use.
